1. Informational purposes only — not veterinary advice
PetsAlbum is a hobby/record-keeping and photo-sharing website. Any information on the Site, including vaccination names, schedules, suggested due dates, reminders, and other pet-health content, is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information is general in nature and is not tailored to your individual animal.
2. No veterinarian–client–patient relationship
Using the Site does not create a veterinarian–client–patient relationship. We are not your or your animal’s veterinarian. Always seek the advice of a licensed veterinarian with any questions about your animal’s health, and never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read or recorded on the Site. If you think your animal may have a medical emergency, contact a veterinarian immediately.
3. Vaccination information is general guidance
Vaccination requirements and schedules vary by species, breed, age, health, geographic region, local law, product/manufacturer, and an individual animal’s risk. Some vaccines (for example, rabies) are legally mandated in many jurisdictions, and some vaccines are not available or approved in all countries or states. The schedules and due-date estimates shown are approximate defaults and may be incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your animal. Only a licensed veterinarian can determine the correct vaccines and timing for your pet.
4. Your responsibility; no reliance on reminders
You are solely responsible for your animal’s care, for scheduling and obtaining actual vaccinations and veterinary care, and for verifying and maintaining accurate records. The Site’s due/overdue indicators and any reminders are conveniences only; they may be wrong, delayed, or absent, and you must not rely on them. PetsAlbum does not notify you of, and is not responsible for, any missed, late, incorrect, or unnecessary vaccination or appointment.
5. Data accuracy and availability
Information you enter is stored on a best-effort basis. We do not warrant that the Site or your data will be accurate, complete, secure, available, or free from loss, corruption, or unauthorized access. Keep your own independent records. Do not rely on the Site as your only record of your animal’s health information.
6. No warranties
The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Your use of the Site is at your sole risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will PetsAlbum, petzalbum.com, the company that created and operates the Site, or its owners, founders, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, and other stakeholders (together, the “Released Parties”) be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or for any injury, illness, or death of any animal or person, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, the information it provides, or the recording, accuracy, availability, or loss of any data — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Release, hold harmless, and indemnification
By using the Site you release, waive, and forever discharge the Released Parties from, and agree not to hold them responsible or liable for, any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to any incident connected with the information provided by the Site or the recording of data on it — including, without limitation, any missed, late, or incorrect vaccination or care, and any harm to any animal or person. You further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any such claims brought by you or any third party.
9. Assumption of risk
You acknowledge that decisions about your animal’s health carry inherent risks, that you assume full responsibility for those decisions, and that you will consult a licensed veterinarian rather than relying on the Site.
10. Content & upload policy
You may upload photos and videos of pets only. You must not upload content that: contains children or other people as the subject; shows nudity, sexual, or explicit material; is violent, cruel, hateful, harassing, or otherwise unlawful; infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, or privacy; or that you do not have the right to share. Every upload is reviewed before it appears publicly. PetsAlbum may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account, at its sole discretion and without notice, for any suspected violation. By uploading, you confirm your content complies with this policy and you accept full responsibility for it.
11. Changes
We may change the Site, this disclaimer, and these terms at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. If the terms change materially, we may ask you to agree again.
12. Third-party vendors, listings, links & transactions
PetsAlbum may list, display, or link to independent third parties — including service providers (such as groomers, walkers, sitters, boarders, trainers, veterinarians, photographers), retailers, advertisers, affiliates, and other businesses (together, "Third Parties"). Some links are affiliate or sponsored links from which we may earn a commission.
PetsAlbum does not provide, operate, control, endorse, recommend, vet, screen, verify, or guarantee any Third Party, or their services, products, offers, availability, pricing, quality, safety, licensing, insurance, qualifications, or conduct. A listing, ranking, rating, "featured" placement, or link is not a recommendation or warranty of any kind. Ratings and reviews are submitted by users and reflect their opinions only; we do not verify them.
PetsAlbum is not a party to, and takes no part in, any communication, transaction, booking, payment, contract, or arrangement between you and any Third Party. Any dealings are solely between you and that Third Party and are entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for investigating any Third Party — checking reviews, credentials, licensing and insurance — before you engage, pay, or transact.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Released Parties (defined above) accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any act, omission, error, misrepresentation, non-performance, loss, cost, damage, injury, illness, death, dispute, or other fallout arising out of or relating to any Third Party or your dealings with them, and you agree not to hold PetsAlbum, petzalbum.com, or its operators, owners and stakeholders responsible or liable for any such matter. You release the Released Parties from, and agree to indemnify and hold them harmless against, all such claims.
13. Acceptance
By checking the agreement box at sign-up, creating an account, recording information, or otherwise using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Disclaimer & Terms of Use, and that you will not hold PetsAlbum, petzalbum.com, the company that created it, or its owners and stakeholders responsible for any incident relating to the information provided or the recording of data.
